Course Completion Reports provide comprehensive visibility into how learners are progressing through an individual course and its component activities.
Accessing Course Completion Reports
- From the Management menu, navigate to Manage Courses (or Reports > Course Reports).
- Locate the desired course and click the Reports button or icon.
- The report dashboard will display real-time completion metrics for all learners assigned to or participating in the course.
Report Data & Metrics
The on-screen course completion report provides:
- Learner Details: Learner name, identifier, and email address.
- Course Status:
- New: The learner has been assigned but has not yet launched any activity.
- In Progress: The learner has started at least one activity but has not completed all required activities.
- Completed: The learner has finished all active activities in the course.
- Progress Percentage: The proportion of active activities completed by the learner (
Completed Activities รท Total Active Activities). - Dates: Assignment date, start date, completion date, and due date.
- Activity-by-Activity Breakdown: A column for each active activity in the course showing the learner's individual activity status and their highest recorded score (for SCORM packages).
Exporting Reports
You can export the entire report dataset to a spreadsheet for offline analysis, auditing, or compliance reporting:
- Click the Export to Excel or Export to CSV button at the top-right of the report screen.
- The downloaded file will include all active learner rows, timestamps, completion percentages, and activity scores stamped with the course name and export date.
Dynamic Filtering
Use the report search bar to filter learners by name, email, or completion status (e.g., viewing only learners with "In Progress" or "Completed" status).
Score Representation
For SCORM activities, the score shown in the report represents the highest raw score achieved by the learner across all of their attempts on that activity.
