Manage Learning Paths

This feature is available to users with the Course Manager role. See Roles

The Manage Learning Paths page provides an overview of all learning paths in the LMS, allowing course managers to edit curriculum settings, add or remove courses, manage enrollments, review completion metrics, and archive curricula.

Key Management Functions

From the Manage Learning Paths page, you can perform the following actions:

  • Filter and Search Learning Paths

Search paths by title, description, or filter by category, publication status (Published / Draft), and assignment requirement.

  • Edit Learning Path Details

Click View Details to edit the title, description, thumbnail, estimated duration, category, and sequence enforcement rules.

  • Manage Member Courses

Add new courses to an existing path or reorder them.

When you add a new course to an in-progress learning path, learner completion percentages are automatically recalculated. You can also opt to re-evaluate learners who had previously completed the path, moving them back to "In Progress" if a new required course was introduced.

  • Publishing & Scheduling

Toggle publication on or off. You can also schedule a future publication date. Published learning paths with immediate dates send assignment notifications to enrolled learners.

  • Access Completion Reports

Click the Reports link on any learning path card to view learner completion statistics and download spreadsheet reports.

  • View Audit Logs

Access the change history of the learning path, including authoring updates, member course changes, and learner completion events.

  • Archive vs. Deactivate

You can archive a learning path that is no longer needed. Archived paths are removed from learner catalogs while preserving historical tracking data.

Archiving Restrictions

A learning path cannot be archived if learners currently have recorded progress greater than 0% against it. To remove it from the catalog, set the learning path to Unpublished instead.

Recalculating Progress

If you remove a course from a learning path, in-progress learners will have their completion percentages recalculated based on the remaining published member courses.
