Creating an Activity

This feature is available to users with the Content Manager role. See Roles

Adding a new activity to an existing course is done from Course Details page. From this page, you can access the Add Activity Form to get started.

  • Step 1 - Activity information

    The first step is to provide the main activity information, including Title and Description.

  • Step 2 - Select the Activity Type

    At this point, you will need to select the activity type. The four types are SCORM package, Video, PDF, and external hyperlink. We do have an article with detailed explanations on each activity type.

    Note

    If you do not select a type when initially creating the activity, you will be able to do so later by clicking on the No action linked button on the Activity List section on the Course Details page.

  • Step 3 - Provide Activity Content

    The final step is to provide the information related to the content. Once the content is validated, and the related options selected, your activity will be ready.

    Once ready, your activity can be previewed. If the related course is published, your learners will now have access to the activity.

    Tip

    Most of the time, your content will require a file upload. However, hyperlinks and YouTube/Vimeo links only require a URL.
